Main duties: Runs the station’s shop six days a week for staff purchases. Ensure daily stock issue and maintain stock entry; conduct monthly stock take; conduct sales of souvenirs to visitors and staff alike; organises and takes stock of goods received from supply boat/plane; maintain stock supply and submit requisition; ensure proper control of stock movement and food for research camps. Attend to any medical issues arising from staff and visitors at the station and establish medical contacts with the Seychelles Hospital in the event of serious cases.

Minimum entry requirement: Post Secondary graduate with mathematical/analytical background and at least 5 years working experience in relevant field. Incumbent should be computer literate and able to use the point of sale system.
